I feel that we are heading into a direction that I do not like, and we need to consider what is going on. Over the last 3 years that I have been involved in battle.net I have been in a number of clans. Over the years I have begun to notice something... The only point of most clans is to have a political battle and attempt to gain higher rank. I am sick of this being everyone's goal in the clan. I have spoke before of disavowing the ranks, and right now I am seriously considering it. Many people say that taking away ranks, takes away everything this clan is good for. I disagree, the point of this clan should not be to gain higher rank, but to have fun and better ourselves as gamers. I am considering making four ranks: recruits, members, council, and leader. I feel that this is perhaps the only way this clan will work. Then people would stop whining about their rank, and start bettering theirselves as gamers. By the way: we seriously need to start getting better as gamers. I feel that this is why we could have the recruit rank, for people who need to grow. This is just my thoughts on the whole thing, it was longer... but I took out a bunch of stuff. Please msg me (email, aim, clan msg) and let me know what you think of my ideas.
